What is Let Us Pray?
Let Us Pray is a weekly prayer litany published by the LCMS for both the three-year lectionary series and the one-year lectionary series. Written to be used during the Prayer of the Church in the Divine Service, Let Us Pray assists the congregation in its worship life. The prayers not only add variety through their use as a Proper, but also bring the worshiper back to the assigned readings for the day.
Integrating Let Us Pray with Lutheran Service Builder:
- Click on Settings (gear) located in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select the "Account Settings" option from the drop-down menu.
- Under Content Subscriptions, click on the "Add Subscription" link and select "Let Us Pray".
- Mark the check-box next to "Include automatically", so that the appointed Prayer of the Church in your Divine Service will be from Let Us Pray automatically. (optional)
