Overview
When using Hymn 922, Go, My Children, with My Blessing for a wedding service, the Wedding Stanzas are intended to replace certain standard stanzas of the hymn, not be used in addition to them.
If both the regular stanzas and the wedding stanzas are selected, the wedding stanzas may appear after Stanza 4, which can make the hymn seem out of order. This behavior reflects the way the wedding stanzas are provided and is not a software defect.
Why This Happens
The rubric for Hymn 922 indicates that the Wedding Stanzas replace Stanzas 2 and 3 of the standard hymn.
In addition, the third Wedding Stanza corresponds to the content normally found in Stanza 4, so selecting both the regular and wedding stanzas results in duplicated content.
Recommended Stanza Selection
For use at a wedding, select:
- Stanza 1
- Stanza 2 (Wedding)
- Stanza 3 (Wedding)
Do not select:
- Stanza 2
- Stanza 3
- Stanza 4
